So praktisch und toll die World of Warcraft Mobile Armory App auch war, sie ist ziemlich veraltet und wird deshalb am 11. Juli offline genommen. Aber keine Sorge, Ersatz ist unterwegs. Die Legion Companion App wird zur WoW Companion App!
Im April wurde das mobile Auktionshaus geschlossen, doch das war offenbar nur der erste Schritt von Blizzard. Denn wie nun angekündigt wurde, geht es am 11. Juli 2018 weiter. An diesem Mittwoch wird die komplette World of Warcraft Mobile Armory App offline genommen und ist dann nicht mehr benutzbar sein. Schade eigentlich, bot diese doch relativ nützliche Funktionen an. Doch sie ist schon äußerst in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte mal ein Update. Und dieses bekommt sie auch, aber eben als komplett neue App.
Denn die Legion Companion App, die wahrscheinlich sowieso die meisten Spieler benutzen, wird für Battle for Azeroth zur neuen offiziellen World of Warcraft Companion App umgebaut und dann die einzige App mit allerlei nützlichen Funktionen sein. Was genau wir damit so anstellen können werden, ist aktuell leider noch nicht bekannt. Zumindest das Abschließen von Missionen wird aber sicherlich wieder mit dabei sein und auch ein mobiles Armory wäre nett. Wir lassen uns überraschen.

The WoW Mobile Armory App Support Ending
As of July 11, 2018, we will no longer be supporting the World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app. But
As a part of our commitment to providing WoW players with a living, connected experience on multiple fronts, we are transitioning away from the current World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app and will be converting the Legion Companion App into a new WoW Companion App in the future. As part of that, we’ll be incorporating many of your favorite World of Warcraft Armory app features along with features for Battle for Azeroth into a new shared app for a more streamlined experience.
